Celebrations

In celebration of the histories and contributions of historically marginalized identities, the Diversity First Consortium commemorates heritage months and identity acknowledgments throughout the year. These celebrations are an opportunity for all community members to learn more about the traditions, people, scholarship, history, and current experiences of those who’ve overcome oppression to create opportunities for all.

Furthermore, these celebrations enhance the opportunity for learnings centered on inclusion, equity, and belonging.
